What we do
Two disciplines, one workshop
Most studios do the app or the device. The interesting problems live in the seam between them — latency, pairing, power, glare, cold gloves. We work that seam.
AI application design
LLM-backed desktop, mobile and web apps: assistants that live inside real workflows, retrieval over your own documents, on-device inference where privacy or connectivity demands it, and interfaces that don't just bolt a chat box onto a product.
Companion apps
The bridge software that makes a device useful: pairing flows, media session and sensor plumbing, settings that sync to the hardware, OTA updates, and diagnostics screens you'll be glad you have at 2 a.m.
Utility tools
Small, sharp apps that solve one annoyance completely — like TowFit, which answers "will it fit in that trailer?" to scale in a browser, and Barcode to QR, which turns any scanned barcode into a QR code your whole floor can read.
Industrial design
Form that survives contact with reality — weather, vibration, gloves, sunlight. CAD through printed prototype through a housing that fits a 1 inch handlebar without a shim kit.

Flagship hardware
Moto Knob
A sealed, round display controller that clamps to your handlebar and drives the media on your phone or tablet — track, volume, scrub, time, compass — with a gloved twist. No fishing for a screen at 70 mph.

Process
Short loops, real hardware early, no six-month reveal.
Define
What breaks today, who it breaks for, and what "done" looks like. Feasibility and cost sketched before anything is committed.
Prototype
Breadboard, printed housing, rough app. Ugly and working beats pretty and theoretical.
Refine
Real-world testing — vibration, sun, gloves, dropouts. Board revisions, firmware hardening, interface polish.
Ship
Production files, small-run manufacture, app store builds, OTA update path, and documentation someone can actually follow.
About
A small studio with a soldering iron and a compiler
Cyron Design exists because the good ideas usually die in the gap between "someone should build this" and "someone who can build all of it." We keep the electronics, the enclosure, the firmware and the application under one roof so that gap never opens.
The work ranges from riding accessories to AI tooling for desktop, mobile and web. The common thread is the same in each: a device or an interface that removes a real annoyance, and does it well enough that you stop thinking about it.
- Whole-stack. Schematic, board, case, firmware, app, backend.
- Field-tested. If it goes on a motorcycle, it gets ridden.
